Pastor Buddy Wimberly "The Nature Of Faith" Luke 17:5-6

5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

All the defects in our christian character boil down to the crude fact of a lack of faith in the testimony of God. Can we just believe what God has said, no matter the seeming impossibility that it presents.
Jesus has challenged His disciples to forgive without condition and they think this to be too great a task for them although Jesus has commanded it. They have become the object of their own passions and resort to asking Jesus to increase their faith.
Jesus' response to them is that the slightest of true faith would do even more remarkable miracles than forgiveness. Like the sycamine tree being plucked up by the root and planted in a inhospitable environment like the sea where no sycamine may naturally grow. Yet but a simple true trust in the absolute power of God would change the nature of the tree, the sea and/or the person.
Many say that they have faith in God but faith is an action word. Jesus said if you have it you might say... or you will forgive or you will just do Gods will against your natural response.

Bro TJ Harrison “Our Father” Matthew 6:9

Matthew 6:9
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Galatians 4:4-9
4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Psalm 9:9-10
9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
