Pastor Buddy Wimberly "If God Be For Us" Romans 8:31-39

Rom 8:31  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Rom 8:32  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Rom 8:33  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
Rom 8:34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Rom 8:35  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

HOW HE MAY PLEASE HIS WIFE

1Co 7:32  But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
1Co 7:33  But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
1Co 7:34  There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
1Co 7:35  And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

Pastor Buddy Wimberly "Tell Me Something Good"I Kings 22:1-23

1  And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.
2  And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.
3  And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
4  And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
5  And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
6  Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
7  And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?
8  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
9  Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.
10  And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.
11  And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.
12  And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.
13  And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
14  And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.
15  So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
16  And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?
17  And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
18  And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?
19  And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
20  And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
21  And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
22  And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
23  Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

He went to battle anyway and disguised himself. But a random arrow fired at chance landed in the place between the plates of armor and slew Ahab. It happened just as the Lord showed His prophet.

Pastor Buddy Wimberly "I Love God" 1Jo 4:19-21, Matthew 22:35-40

I John 4:19-21
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Matthew 22:35-40
Mat 22:35 Then one of them, which was] a lawyer, asked him a question], tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is] the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Bro Daniel Harrett "Leadership And Followship" Deuteronomy 1:23, Numbers 13:1-3, 18-20, 26-27, 30-32, Psalm 106:24

Deu 1:23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:

Num 13:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Num 13:2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

Num 13:3 And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were] heads of the children of Israel.

Num 13:18 And see the land, what it is]; and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be] strong or weak, few or many;

Num 13:19 And what the land is] that they dwell in, whether it be] good or bad; and what cities they be] that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

Num 13:20 And what the land is], whether it be] fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was] the time of the firstripe grapes.

Num 13:26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

Num 13:27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is] the fruit of it.

Num 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

Num 13:31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are] stronger than we.

Num 13:32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is] a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are] men of a great stature.

Psa 106:24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

1577 01132019Morn Pastor Buddy Wimberly "Won By One" Romans 5:17-19
Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Romans 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Adam = man
Adams offence brought death (the wages of sin is death) not only for Adam but for all of man
Jesus = last Adam
Brought the gift of righteousness (His) so that they which receive this gift of grace rule in life instead of being ruled by death. (for by grace are ye saved by faith)
All Men:
Sinners because of Adams sin = imputed sin
Righteous because of Jesus righteousness = imputed righteousness

Not by works, not by knowledge, not goodness, but by one mans obedience shall many be made righteous.
Conviction + Confession + Repentance = Forgiveness
Be aware + acknowledge or own it + turn from it = right standing with God

Pastor Buddy Wimberly "Iniquity Of The Holy Things" Exodus 28:36-38
Exodus 28:36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
Exodus 28:37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
Exodus 28:38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.

The sins of our public worship are many!
They include hypocrisy, formality, lukewarmness, irreverence, and a wandering heart!
Our work is a form of worship, but we too often find selfishness, carelessness, slackness, and unbelief.
Even in our private devotions there is laxity, coldness, neglect, sleepiness, and vanity; what a mountain of dirt this is! And the more carefully we examine this mountain the larger it becomes.

One minister, writing to his brother, says, My parish, as well as my heart, resembles the garden of the sluggard, overgrown with weeds; and what is worse is that I find my desire to get rid of the weeds doesnt come from righteousness, but from further pride, vanity, and laziness. I want the weeds to be taken away, but why do I wish this? It may that I want to say to myself, How wonderful my garden looks! But this is pride! Or, it may be that my neighbors may look over the wall and say, Your garden is so lovely! But this is vanity. Or I may just be tired of pulling them out, but this is laziness.
The fact is that even our desires after holiness are often polluted by improper motives. Under the greenest sod worms hide themselves, and we dont have to look hard to find them.
But how comforting it is to know that Jesus, our High Priest, took upon himself even our sins of attempted worship. Thankfully, he doesnt offer to the Father our holiness, but His own. O that God would give us grace to look upon Jesus, our High Priest, with the eye of faith in all things!

1575 01062019Eve Pastor Buddy Wimberly "Stronger Than A Mother's Love" Isaiah 49:13-16

13  Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
14  But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15  Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
16  Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

1574 01062019Morn Pastor Buddy Wimberly "The Least That I can Do" Psalm 116:12-14

12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Render = Turn back; return (it acknowledges the origin of the gift being rendered)
Benefits = Bestowment (gifts appropriately assigned to me)

My Soul = take the cup of salvation; lift or extol the fullness of His
 deliverance
My Life = call upon the name of the LORD; communication; communion; to
 walk in His ways
My Possessions = pay my vows; to make complete a thing promised

Soul = Saved; delivered & set free

Life = to serve; example & minister

Possessions = truly show a full thankfulness for all He has done when we
 give generously

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou. Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said] unto him. Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

1572 12302018 Eve Bro TJ Harrison Ezekiel 6:22, Genesis 6:5-7 II Chronicles 36:15-16 Eze 16:22

And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and] wast polluted in thy blood. Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was] great in the earth, and that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was] only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 2Ch 36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place: 2Ch 36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was] no remedy.
