Zacchaeus (Luke 19:8): An extortioner through inflating taxes. The Lord came to his house. He was greedy and self-centered. He needed grace.
Thief on the cross (Luke 23:41): Guilty of doing things worthy of death
Barabbas (John 18:40): Was a robber
Philippian Jailer (Acts 16:34): He put the ministers of God in stocks and chains
Saul of Tarsus (I Corinthians 15:10): He persecuted the Church of God
Nicodemus (John 19:39): He was a religious teacher of the Israelites.
Mary the mother of Jesus (Luke 1:47): She was favored by God to be the mother of the Christ
Samaritan Woman at the well (John 4:29): She had been married 5 times and was now shacked up with a man. Jesus walked up to her and started talking about living water. He loved her and wanted nothing from her. She needed love and grace and found it in Jesus.
Onesimus (Philemon 1:11): A runaway slave who was unprofitable.
Young Rich Ruler (Mark 10:19-22): the morally good rich man.
